Wired

As a parent of six kids, one thing that I have observed is that all kids' brains are wired to discover the bandwidth of their limits. They do this differently at each stage of their developmental process and while it can be frustrating and tiresome for parents, it should never be taken personally. In fact, my wish is by the time you finish reading this, you will view their behavior as a beautiful dance. I also wish for negative behavioral terms such as "the terrible twos" to become obsolete. There is no such thing as a terrible two-year-old; they are simply doing what they are wired to do.

Thank you, Croft!! As you can see, I hardly make time to work on it. Having 6 kids may be part of the reason. :)
I need to get to it more often to help balance all the negative energy out there on the internet with some positive. That's what I liked about your comments (on the moms4SarahPalin blog)as well as your personal blogs. Keep up the great job and your great spirit!!

I take my hat off to you, Denise! We had just one child, although sometimes it felt like six. He is 40 now and has given us two granddaughters. Grandchildren are much more fun than children! You can spoil the heck out of them and then send them home.
